From the Parks of Chicago to the State Title Stage
In the city of Chicago, football is more than just a game—it’s a test of will, discipline, and technical precision. My coaching journey began in the heart of that fire, and over the years, I have dedicated myself to one goal: Mastering the Trenches.
The Foundational Years
My career started at the grassroots level in the CPS Youth Football League. It was there, coaching young athletes in the city’s parks, that I realized talent alone isn’t enough. To win in the trenches, you need a language and a system. By applying the early principles of what would become the A-Frame System, I led my unit to a CPS Youth City Championship, proving that elite technique can be taught to any athlete at any age.
Making IHSA History
When I made the jump to the high school level, the stakes got higher, but the mission remained the same. I had the honor of serving as a Defensive Line coach for a historic program—the only Chicago Public League (CPL) team to ever win an IHSA State Championship. Through multiple deep playoff runs—including Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and that historic State Title—I saw the A-Frame System neutralize the best offenses in Illinois. We didn't just win; we dominated the line of scrimmage, kept our linebackers clean, and forced opposing quarterbacks into mistakes they couldn't recover from.
The Scholarship Blueprint
